TOM MARINE CONSULTING

Demand-Capacity-Dependencies for Sequential Prioritization and Efficient Productivity through Change Management.
Tom’s strength is summed up best in one of his recommendations:
“Tom’s key strength is change management. He is a visionary with the unique ability to look at an activity, recognize an opportunity to improve it, and then shape people and processes to achieve dramatic results. Every company needs someone like Tom.”
Although considered an expert in Database Publishing (Content Management / Product Information Management), Tom’s most recent executive team leadership focused on leading enterprise-wide initiatives. For instance, Tom was called the “voice of reason” when balancing the implementation of simultaneous projects, which had complex and intertwined dependencies.
•Implementing projects and change
•Matching resources with priorities
•Managing multiple and massive projects
•Leading by example
Insight consulting may fit one of these five exercises:
1. Process/Workflow control – Designed to create efficiencies and increase productivity. Is there a particular area that you believe is more inefficient than another? Might be the good place to start.
2. Overall business direction change management exercise facilitation – Sometimes it takes a third party facilitator to help draw out what is needed to set the sail in a new or different direction. But, people would have to feel comfortable.
• Needs Analysis – Designed to understand the overall needs of the company and get a lay of the land on where systems meet productivity and resources.
3. Executive Committee Mind Mapping – Brief and to the point. Might be the best first step. What are your concerns, ideas, current, future, past? What are the different areas that have potential?
4. Business Systems control – Similar to #1, but more of an I.T. systems approach, whether it’s an ERP or some other integrated business system. Have you found it hard to figure out the differences between these systems?
• ERP, MDM, PIM, CMS, DBP, DAM
5. Marketing Profiling exercise – Do you know your customers and how to reach them? Who are they and what are their passions?
